How can I get over someone I was never even with?

So I am totally head over heels in crush on this guy. He is so kind and smart and just overall an amasing person in general. The only thing is that he has a girlfriend. It just really hurts to know that he may never see me the way I see him. I just want him to see me and maybe date me. Admitting that that may not happen, I need to know what I can do to get over him. Because I am just so heartbroken.
