Do I visit him at the hospital?

I've been talking to this guy for a little over a month now and we get along really well. We hit it off straight from the beginning. Two months before I met him, he was in a car accident. He had to have surgery and had to get a temporary stoma. Here soon he is getting the stoma reversed. He will be in the hospital for at least a couple days maybe as long as a week (depending on how surgery goes etc.) I really like him and I know he likes me, so I've been thinking about when he's in the hospital, do I visit him at all? I want to and of course only would if he's comfortable with me being there. But I wanted to get opinions beforehand if it would be weird for me to go since I haven't known him for very long or if that matters. I don't want to bring it up to him if it's obviously too soon for me to be going to the hospital when he's there. I just know if the roles were reversed, I would love him coming to visit and spend some time with me at the hospital. It can get boring and lonely, but I know it can be very personal. What are your opinions??
