I can't see the other comments on this post for some reason, so I might be saying the same thing as other people, but for me if I put it in a little funky or if I'm in a huge rush and can't fix it/it doesn't go all the way in (terrible, but it happens) I definitely feel discomfort. I'm not sure what causes it, but probably something to do with it not fitting properly within the vaginal muscles I would guess.

I can’t put ANYTHING in there during my period, the pain is awful.
