My husband is trying to bum rush me with visitors

I want to throat punch my husband. I have told him no visitors until the next day because birth is freakin hard. We are tired. I could use a day to rest, bond with baby, etc.

So we will have limited visitors from family the next day not staying long.

However, he is trying to make me feel bad now saying his partners at work want to come (like 3 of them) which I am TOTALLY uncomfortable with.

First off these people are no relation to baby. Second, I don't even know these people. Never met them in my life. I dont feel like entertaining people when I just shit a watermelon out.

He is saying he has to lie about when she's born so he doesn't look bad and tell them "his wife doesn't want visitors" because I am apparently unsocial. He said I am ruining the experience for him.

He is already lying about to his family about when I have baby bc they wont respect wishes not to come the first day.

I totally get being excited as am i, but I feel like he is really not taking my feelings into consideration at all. On top of giving birth I will be breastfeeding which is hectic, have nurses coming in and out, pediatrician, etc.

Is it too fucking much to ask for rest while we are in the hospital?!
