School can go die in a hole

I am 15 years old

School makes us go through these long tests that can range anywhere from 40 questions to 90 questions and apparently they don’t even effect our future! What?! That’s so dumb! They literally prepare us all year for these bulked up tests that do nothing for us. The way they grade them is messed up too! If you don’t get a better grade than some of your other classmates, you don’t really ‘pass’ but you still get a higher score. It’s something like that. They don’t even give you your grade until summer time.

Another thing, I just hate school in general because they shove piles of homework at us and expect us to finish it without getting stressed out. I literally developed anxiety and a high stage of depression because of school. They hardly take into consideration extra curricular activities or jobs. Most people don’t get home until 10 at night because they’re playing football or volleyball and then they have Math, Spanish, Language, and Chemistry? That’s at least 5 hours of homework for you. My friends play volleyball and they’re not allowed to do their homework on the bus and sometimes it’s an hour long ride. So I’m just saying, school may educate us but it hurts us in more ways than one. Excessive amounts of homework needs to stop and I can’t really do anything about it.

Although a little bonus thought for anyone still reading. If I were to try to lead this movement and boycott homework, would a college accept me still? Something to think about I guess...
