My husband was playing with our 4 month old son laying on the couch last night when he fell off. He screamed liked I’ve never heard him scream before. He calmed down within a few minutes and ended up falling asleep. There was a red spot for a little bit which ended up going away. But I’m absolutely paranoid! He has been going through the 4 month regression and waking every 2 hours at night the last week and now it’s been 6 hours and he’s still asleep. (Its night time, not 6 hours during the day) I’ve checked on him a few times but I’m wide awake worrying about him! I didn’t see him fall so idk if it was hard or how he fell. My husband said he fell feet first. He never threw up or anything like that.

Update: he woke up at his normal time this normal acting like his normal self. No bumps and no bruises. I called the pediatrician and she assured me that he should be fine. He likely slept more last night because he was so worked up from falling right before bedtime.
