Tmi (no pic) vagina pimple??

Question

Earlier a spot in my outer labia was kind of hurting but I thought it was just a cyst or something but i just went to look at it and there was like pus and it like popped and more came out... what do you think it is??
And the spot where the pus came out isn’t a bump but it is dark purple and small

Could definitely be pimple or ingrown hair, I don’t think there is any reason for alarm.  I have had both, on the mons and labia.
(Unless you have recently had contact with a partner who could have had herpes, but I think if you were having a first breakout it would be more significant than a single sore.)
I had a weird bump while in college and went to student health, convinced I had contracted herpes and totally losing it, and the doctor *actually laughed* at me and was like, “No, if this was a first herpes breakout, you would know.”
