Were you able to use your Bella bands for most of your pregnancy?

I’m almost 8 weeks pregnant and I noticed my pants are starting to fit a little tighter on the waist. I’m not looking forward to buying a bunch of maternity work pants. I’ve been getting mixed reviews on Bella bands. Some have said the bands have allowed them to wear their regular clothes long into their pregnancy and some said it was only useful for the little bit. Anyone tried them? Should I buy one?

I’m going to play devils advocate as I landed on team maternity cloths. Understandably they are expensive and I got lucky as my mom helped me with some of the expense. But here’s my point, if you end up not being one of those that can use the belly band till the end of pregnancy would it not be worth it to invest in pants especially sooner rather then later. Say like one lady said you are able to get to the third trimester without buying but then you end up buying some but only end up wearing them maybe 2 months as opposed to buying earlier and wearing the 5-6 months depending on when you start to not fit into regular pants. 🤷🏻‍♀️ also if this is your first pregnancy and you plan on more kids they’d be able to hopefully be used next pregnancy as well. just my opinion I’m not sure exactly what your situation is but figured I’d give an opposing viewpoint.

I just did the hair tie trick.  In the beginning something on my stomach didn't really bother me.  But the further I got into my pregnancy, tighter material around my stomach was very uncomfortable.  I just got bigger sizes and did the hair tie trick.

I used mine with my work pants for most of my first pregnancy which was nice. Also, with jeans. I’d say once you get into your third trimester is when they don’t really work anymore and you have to wear real maternity clothes for sure.

I gained weight in my hips and thighs with my first so I had to switch to maternity pants towards third trimester and they are SO COMFY! So with my second I switched early in my second trimester 😃

I used mine all the way last pregnancy.. Never got uncomfortable.. And i got pretty huge with my last baby.. This was the day before i had her 💁💖

I used mine until my third trimester. I think it was worth it for me. I didn’t have a ton of money to spend on cute maternity clothes so it made sense for me to wear my normal clothes as long as I could. Then I rocked a lot of dresses lol.
