Bottles: which are best?

I’m 33 weeks and have most of the things i need for my little carson lane before he gets here but im not sure which are the best bottles to try and get. I plan on trying to Breastfeed but i don’t know where to get a pump, how to transfer the milk to the bottles or what bottles work for them so any advice would really help!

I would see if your insurance covers a pump and medela is good and so is the specta2. I used both and like both. Bag are awesome pumping is hard work if your breast feeding.. As for bottles it depends on what your baby takes to. I tried 3 diffetent types and ended up with the playtex ones for my daughter. Storrage bags for breast feeding are awesome because they dont take up much space.

The “best” bottle depends on which one works for your baby. I would try to get samples or single bottles of a few different ones and see which one they do best with before stocking up on a lot of one kind. The slowest flow nipple usually works best if you’re going to be nursing and bottle feeding expressed milk (some brands make a newborn/preemie flow that is slower than the “slow” flow)

Your insurance company usually gives you a breast pump. There’s a lot of companies that can help you get one. I used Aeroflow and they helped me get mine from my insurance. It didn’t cost me a thing. 
I planned on breastfeeding but couldn’t for very long. We use dr. Browns options bottles. They come in both a breast type nipple or a standard nipple. If you get a pump. Those will come with some bottles as well.

I love avent natural. You can get a pump through insurance or buy one I got mine at target. You can get breast milk bags to store your milk. 4 hours in the fridge and 6 months in the freezer. You will need to warm the breast milk up slowly then just pour into the bottle!

If you have insurance and if you’re in the US, check out aeroflowbreastpumps.com. They will work with your insurance to send you a free breast pump. I used them and it was such an easy experience. I did, however, have to get a written prescription from my OB for a breast pump, then I took a picture of the prescription with my phone and emailed it to the girl I was corresponding with from the website. Everything was done online and it took about a week for my pump to arrive. 
As far as bottles, you’ll most likely need to try a couple of different ones to find the brand both you and your baby like. I prefer not to use plastic for several reasons, so I liked Dr. Browns glass and Pura Kiki stainless steel bottles (with Avent nipples). For my next baby I plan to use Boon Nursh bottles.
