Confused bout BBT. How exactly can u calculate it? What's it based on?

And also,  I feel like I don't  get my period each month on the exact same day..  Its usually round the first 2wks of the month.  How can I calculate when I'm beginning  to ovulate and my bbt (However u calculate that..)if your period doest always start on the same day????  Help?!

You need to take your BBT every single day, regardless of where you are in your cycle. Measure it with a BBT-specific thermometwr, that goes to at least 2 decimal places. Take your temperature at the same time every day, when you first wake up but before you get out of bed and start moving. There's nothing to calculate, you just have to record your data religiously.
