Possible Endometriosis?

Jamie

I have a lot of issues with my period, or so I think. I have gone to my yearly check ups with my gynecologist, but when I mentioned my periods and the stuff I go through😞, he said it was normal. He also isn’t the one who does my check ups every year, I have one of his females do it. When I first began my period at age 14, it was more irregular. I mean I had my period for 3 months straight once. I did get on birth control for regulation and it helped, but then I got off of it until I started becoming sexually actively. I used it for a little bit, but ended up stopping cause i hated it. It made the pain go away sometimes but not completely, it mostly just helped with regulation. I’ve been off of it for years now and my periods are relatively regular, but my pain is off the charts! I mean I just started my cycle yesterday, but the day before I was cramping bad and the night before I could barely sleep because of cramping pain. All day yesterday and all last night I was cramping bad, bad enough to make me feel nauseous. Same for today! I can take pain meds, but it only subsides for a bit and Midol doesn’t really help me. I have had instances where I have had to call out of work or college classes because of

The pain. I would have to get into the fetal position to relieve some of the pain. I would have col sweats, one minute I would be extremely hot and pouring sweat and then start feeling cold. Almost flu like symptoms. My lower abdomen hurts really bad, like someone is ringing my insides out like a wet washcloth! Makes my lower back hurt too. I always get what I call period shits, when I’m normally constipated. I get nauseous, have headaches, get extremely moody, sometimes get dizzy when standing so I have to sit down until it goes away. I’m just really worried about my symptoms cause my friends don’t experience some of the stuff I do and I’ve always had a weird feeling.
