Progesterone Pessaries and Vaseline

So I’m an IVF patient and I’m 9 weeks pregnant the furthest I’ve got from my previous pregnancies (yay!) anyways

My question is I’ve been switched from Cyclogist Pessaries to Endometrin Pessaries but I’m using it rectally not vaginally I don’t want to insert anything at this point vaginally so can I use vaseline just on the tip to ease the insert process up? A petroleum jelly base? As I tried to moist the area first with water but it didn’t work and I suffered lol.

Any thoughts? Help?
