Would you get your little baby ears pierced?

I honestly would never, it’s unnecessary pain your baby shouldn’t feel just because you want them to look ‘beautiful’ or ‘like a girl’ or whatever. 
Your baby should be able to make that decision when he or she is older and knows what is going on.

I'm like you, I think a child should be have a decision as to whether they have their ears pierced. It seems wrong to do it when they have no say as it's their body, not yours.

I don't think it is a big deal either way. My mom got mine and both my sisters done when were only so many weeks old. She would have us wear earrings for years. As I grew older though and took care of myself till now I almost never wear earrings. My ears are still pierced and could wear earrings if I wanted to but *shrugs*. I think if I did love earrings though I would be happy that my mom got it done as a baby because you don't remember the pain it becomes a much bigger deal and more of a painful memory I think when you get to be so many years old and ask/want your ears pierced. Both of my sisters have multiple piercings now and not just their ears so I think they enjoyed it even more than me.

No, i have a 5 year old and she’s never asked for earrings even though she has friends with theirs done. Id rather wait til she asks because then i know she actually wants it doing.

Most girls get their ears pierced anyway but maybe wait for the kid to grow a little bit more, not that it bothers me that my parents pierced mine when I was a baby I kind of feel it’s better because they won’t remember any of it anyway

No, never. I'm all for piercings I've had many but I would never allow that to be done. I fully believe a child should be able to take care of their piercings by themselves to get one done.

No. Let the child decide for his or her self whether they want their ears pierced. Don't put unnecessary holes in their ears. They might not want them when they get older.

My mom had my ears pierced when I was little and she told me that they turned out uneven, so she took the piercings out and they closed up on their own. Then on my 13th birthday I wanted to get them pierced so we did. Even though they were pierced before, I was happy that they closed up and I could make the decision for myself.
