Membrane sweep..

Did it do anything for you? 39 weeks tomorrow with a check up ((thought about asking my dr to do a sweep as she only does then between 38 and 41 weeks)). Have a scheduled induction for next week at 40 weeks 1 day. As of last Wednesday I was 2.5-3cm dilated and about 50% effaced. I’ve been thinking about asking my dr to a sweep tomorrow but I’m wondering what it did for some other ladies ? Particularly ones who were already dilated and all.
