Pain on ovaries

Si lately for the past 2 weeks I’ve been having this pain on my left side where I usually get cramps when I get my period. But is only one side that’s in pain and is not a pain that’s really bad is more of an uncomfortable feeling. Like period cramps but yesterday it was more painful than other days. I told my grandma about it and she told me that it may be because I was living a heavy bucket of water but is not the first time it happens. Any of you have this problem?
