What do you think of the name Arya?

My husband and I are huge nerds and are into fantasy. I have also been involved in music almost my whole life. We both love the name Arya, pronounced Aria (as in music) but spelled with a y like in Game of Thrones. 
My dad is concerned that people will see her name and associate her with Nazis and white power crap, and that it puts a target on her because the spelling is so similar to Aryan nation. He is a certified genius and often over thinks or over complicates things, so I am reluctant to change the spelling just because he is paranoid. 
Is my dad being overly paranoid, or am I being oblivious to the potential dangers to my soon to be here daughter?

We had a little girl name Arya in our center but it was pronounced “Are-ya” like off of game of thrones or whatever lol only issue was people called her Aria
