I close my eyes...

I have been married to my husband for 7 years. We have been together almost 9 years.

I close my eyes during sex.

I am a very insecure person and I do not like to feel like I am being looked at or that he is looking at whatever ugly sex face I’m making and closing my eyes helps me deal with those insecurities.

Last night my husband asked me if I close my eyes because I am thinking about someone else!

I explained my insecurities to him but he didn’t believe me.

I can not believe that after this long he thinks that! I have always (every single time we’ve had sex) closed my eyes!

Now I am only going to be able to think that he thinks I am thinking of someone else while we are being intimate and I don’t know how to deal with that 😢
