Complicated

So I been talking to this guy for about 5 months . We had sex after 1/2 months of talking . He such a busy guy . He works in a mechanic shop , attends college and he is in a music band ... Most of the times we meet up it’s all about sex . The conversation are mostly there . I really like him . I put these on pause for the both of us . Cause I just felt we needed time away from each other so we can improve on things . It’s been almost a week that we haven’t talked and now I’m getting mixed feelings about us . I really want to know what’s his feelings towards me but I am really shy to ask and don’t want to break the silent of us improving on things during this “pause” . Any advice ??
