Scheduled c-section 9/26- scared!

Hi ladies, I’m scheduled for a c-section next Wednesday (I will be 39w 3d) due to baby being breech. 2 weeks ago she was transverse (sideways) and at my ultrasound today, she is fully breech. Little stinker turned the wrong way! I opted out of a version bc the risks freaked me out too much. However, I’m also terrified of having a c-section. I’ve never had surgery before and bloodwork/ IVs make me feel like I’m going to pass out. I’m especially scared of having the spinal. I know I won’t see it but just the idea of having a needle in my back is enough. I’m trying to think of the positives (it’s scheduled and I don’t have to go through labor) but I’m still very nervous. Any positive c-section experiences that you guys can share to help ease my mind?
