I’m 13, and I don’t really know how to bring up the subject of asking my mum for tampons. My school leaves tampons in the school bathroom so I tend to just sneak a few in my bag and take them home with me.
Is it wrong that I take the tampons from the school? 
And how do I bring up the topic of asking my mum for tampons instead of pads?

I’m 13 too. I’m athletic and my mom has always been against tampons for the most part. (Sorry, but I’m not playing softball in a pad) I was terrified but I finally gained some courage and just asked if I can use tampons and pads. She wasn’t that cool about it, but she finally understood after a lot of consideration. 
It’ll be ok. For the record, taking tampons from school is ok, but try not to take too many at a time. Ask your mom sooner than later.

Just ask her, my mum doesn’t use tampons but when i said i wanted to use them for PE she gave me money to buy my own.
