Thought the would never get here.

Chantel • First time momma of twins girl's 🤰👭💕 08/09/2018

I'm a little late posting but I have been so wrapped up being a new mom I am now getting to post. On August 6th I went to my high risk doctor for what I thought would be to my second to last visit before my twins would be born but I was wrong. My blood pressure was too high and she automatically sent me across the bridge to the women's hospital to be monitored. Fast forward to August 9th after a couple of days of super high blood pressure and the nurses not being able to monitor the babies like they needes after giving me magnesium the doctor decided that night I would have my csection. My bestfriend literally walked in the room as they were telling me all this. I quickly called my mom and kids dad to hurry. Everything was such a blur I remember going so scared of the epidural but it going so smoothly to the point I was even ok when they put the catheter in. My doctor came around and said are you ready I said I guess I have no choice he said let's do this. I watched the TV monitor above me and remember asking my kids father are they cutting me I smell burnt flesh lol. At that point he confirmed and at 7:50 PM Isabella was born. Before I knew it I didnt feel a tug or pull from the doctor but a gush and at 7:51 Victoria was born. I was so excited to be able to finally see the little faces of the girls who I had been frowning inside me. The three weeks after were not ez at all. Luckily my girls just needed to learn how to eat get a little bigger compared to other parents in the NICU we were lucky. I literally was with the girls from sun up to sun down every day for three weeks until they were finally released. Although since being home I have had such a rollercoaster of feelings and emotions I really would not have it any other way I love them so much.
