Parents who weren’t excited about your pregnancy

Were they later excited after you gave birth? Later in the pregnancy?

My mom thinks it’s too close together for me to have kids (they’ll be 2 years apart though) she had us all 4 years apart.

She was really excited the first time I was pregnant and loved spending time with my child (the two are inseparable) but now I’m worried she’s not going to feel the same way about this next baby.

Like the first time with all my aversions and needing to eat so often she was so supportive and making sure everything was ok. This time we’ll be out together and I’ll say I’m starving I need to eat and she’ll be like I haven’t eaten all day either so relax. Then I remind her I’m pregnant and she just rolls her eyes.

I just don’t understand why she’s being like this. It’s making me upset.
