What is wrong with me?

I got a call from our ob (never a good sign) to learn that I’m anemic and have hypothyroidism. Now I have to go see an endocrinologist and a hemotologist. I struggled for 5 years to get pregnant to end up having multiple surgeries and IVF to create this miracle boy that is growing inside of me. I’m getting so emotional because it feels like my body does not want to do what it’s supposed to do. 😫 What is wrong with me? Why can’t things just go smoothly from here? I am a heavy praying woman and still I sometimes feel defeated.

Nothing is wrong with you! Hypothyroidism may even be why it was so difficult to get pregnant. But it’s easy to treat with just a hormone replacement. And the anemia is normal for many women in pregnancy. They’ll make sure you get extra iron and just keep monitoring. 
You’re doing a great job and will be a great mom! Don’t stress!

You’ll be fine. It’s better to have them call you and sort these things out rather than leave them and have them cause problems further down the line. You were meant to have this baby for a reason, enjoy it and try not to stress. You’ll be in good hands

I have hypothyroidism it’s no big deal I take a tiny pill every morning. I also have to get a shot every week to prevent preterm labor and I just had a cerclage done to prevent early delivery like I had last year. Count your blessings gorgeous everything is going to be okay. The best things come from the biggest obstacles!
