Small ages gap or large?!

I’ve been speaking to a few mums that I now recently, all of which agree I had my daughters to close together; and that I should’ve waited at least 2 years minimum before having another... and that no one has children that close together - i want to point out their not friends just people I know & from mum groups.
There is exactly 14 months 27 days between my daughters, and being completely honest I didn’t think it was ridiculously close - like I could’ve gotten pregnant much earlier; I love close age gaps! 
What do you think? And if your children are close together what’s the age gap? Just feel like I’m the only person I know with children close together....

I thought having my babies 3-4 years apart would be golden for us. My oldest would understand when mommy was sick and pregnant. It wouldn't be too hard to explain bubby was on the way. He would be more independent etc. What I never considered is so HEAVY he is as a 3yo. He weighs 37 pounds. At 3 there are just sometimes where I HAVE to lift/carry him. But after losing so much weight myself from being sick & being 7 months pregnant I can hardly pick him up. It hurts my stomach, I can't hold him for long periods of time. And I really wished I either hadn't waited so long, or waited just a few years longer. This is such a small inconvenience in the long term & hopefully things will get better after birth. But pray for this pregnant momma y'all. 
And don't worry about what other people have to say about your babies age gaps. Honestly, the only reason I could think that it may be problem is because my OB told me my body needed a full year to heal from pregnancy before we had another. But if your healthy, and your kids are healthy why worry about anyone else's opinion?

My sister and I are 9 years apart and we are close.

My children will be 14 or 15 months apart (depends on when this baby decided to come out bc of where my due date falls lol) but i would NEVER  wait 2 years to have another child. I couldnt start all over with a newborn when i just finished that stage. When my kids are out of diapers thats it! Im not having no more! Your fine. They are not “too close” in age, maybe some of the moms you talked to wanted their children closer in age and it didn’t happen for them , so they are a little bitter towards you.

My oldest and 2nd are 16 months apart. The 2nd will be almost 2 when the 3rd gets here. Do whatever works for your family.

The older 2 are best friends and the younger 2 are best friends.
I was an only child until 9 and I’m just now getting close to my sister now that she’s 19. I never was close to her or my 12 years younger brother growing up.

It’s very common in Ireland. In fact there’s a term ‘Irish twins’ when you have another baby before the 1st birthday. I’m TTC so no kids yet but my sister has 2 kids. The eldest was 17 months when the 2nd was born. They’re currently 3yrs 8 months & 2 yrs 3 months.
