Ladies that shave downstairs

Me and my man are going away this weekend and it’s our first trip without the baby so I think we’re both hoping to spend most of it naked 😂

My question is, how should I schedule shaving down below? I want to stay smooth all weekend but usually the day after I shave I get a bit stubbly which isn’t comfortable to shave again. I can’t wax or use hair removal creams as I’ve had bad reactions in the past.
