When should I dye my hair?

I’m getting married November 30th and I want freshly dyed hair for it. I want to attempt a blonde and if that doesn’t work then I’ll do burgundy instead. I’m just not sure when I should have it done. Now? A week before the wedding? A month before?

If you want to do blonde, start now, because it takes several dye sessions to completely lift darker hair. I would also suggest going to a stylist that uses the Olaplex system, which will minimize damage. I think if you’re only doing it for your wedding, then you might want to go with something easier, like a burgundy, because the blonde will be a lot of work.
