Best birth control??

I’ve been on the pill for about 2 years now. My periods have been irregular every few months , serious “ spotting “ (its more like light period ) from about the second week into a pack until my actual planned period on the pack . I’ve gone repeatedly to the GYN and they constantly tell me it could be a STD , I’m 1000% sure I don’t have a STD 1 because they make you pee in a cup every time and they test it and 2 ) I’ve only been with one guy , I know you can still get them but my mom also has irregular periods and she goes through the same thing .

So what I’m asking is since by GYN doesn’t believe me and won’t switch my pills to anything better to help control my irregular periods what other types of birth control would be good ? I was thinking that vaginal implant but I’ve heard bad things about that as well as the depo shots . Will those even help with the period irregularities??
