When did you tell the grandparents?

I just found out that we are 4 weeks and 1 day pregnant with our first baby... We are conflicted about when to tell his parents and mine (we will wait until at least 12 weeks to tell everyone else)... when did you tell your parents? I know the 1st trimester is the toughest when it comes to miscarriages... I'm just conflicted. Thanks!
I made cute little announcement boxes because we plan on telling them tomorrow but I was told that it is too early by someone who is pregnant with their second kid atm. So I'm second guessing myself.

That day. I texted my mom the night i tested. She never answered. I called her that morning and she was looking at cribs 😂😂😂. He told his mom that day. By the next day everone she knows knew via group chat 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I will probably tell my immediate family and grandparents soon after I get confirmation from my doctor. But my husband's family can't keep a secret to save their loves, so they'll have to wait until at least 8 weeks.

I plan to tell those close to us earlier because I would tell my immediate family and close friends if I had a mc anyway.

Personally I wouldn’t tell them until I got the first ultrasound (due to previous situations) but if you feel like telling them right away then go for it! They might be a good support system for you to talk with in the beginning of your new journey!

I plan to wait until 7 weeks to tell my parents, in laws, siblings, and three closest friends. Everyone else can wait until 12+ weeks. I’m only telling people early if I would be ok telling them about a miscarriage.
