Pumping in car?

Hi,
I just ordered freemies and a plug adapter for my car for my electric pump. My question is where do you position the pump while you're driving?? First time mom and exclusive pumper...plan to do trips and this would help so beneficial. Just didnt see how you can pump and maneuver the settings while driving??

What pump do you have? And what adapter did you get? I’m looking to get a car adapter as well

I’ve pumped in the car a couple of times and I waited until I got a let down and had the settings pretty much where I needed them for rest of the pump. I’d change the vacuum settings when I was stopped at traffic lights. I thought it was a little too dangerous to be doing that while the car was in motion. I prefer to avoid pumping while driving for that reason and also because I normally massage and compress while pumping. That said, pumping in the car has been the difference between being late, either for a pump or for a commitment.
