Spotting during pregnancy questions

I’ve seen a few posts about this, but wanted to get more input!

I’ll be 6 weeks on Wednesday, and the day I turned 5 weeks I started noticing brown discharge when I wiped, specifically after bowel movements. That same day I noticed a streak of bright pink spotting when I wiped only. After that one instance that was all that happened. I contacted my doctor who sent me for blood work. When she got the results back she said everything’s normal and fine!

Since then, I’ve noticed on and off brown discharge when I wipe. How many of you have experienced this? And how long did it last?

I just don’t know what’s considered normal discharge during pregnancy as this is my first time.
