Why do I always go for the “project” guys?

The ones that have to be taught how to treat a woman...

Such as:

Don’t lie or hide things and let me find out about them from your sister blurting out that unknown secret

Commit to plans, like a date on Saturday when we know we won’t see each other the rest of the days of the week

Pick me up for a date every so often and please don’t drive away before I get inside my house

Remember important dates, like the wedding I’ll be participating in that you’re my plus one for

Buy some flowers for my birthday, even if it’s those random assortments from the guy selling them off the side of the freeway entrance. It would be so lovely to receive something like that without a special day, but that might be asking too much

Care about my passions in life like I care about yours and at least make some effort to be interested in things I like that maybe you haven’t been exposed to

I just don’t understand why I have to be a bitch to be asking for things like this.. to make you resentful

Mixture of my last two exes... one being a guy without a college education but really dedicated to his career. The other worked a random part time job but a full time chemical engineering major.

Why dont you guys have common sense then get angry when I ask for the things I don’t receive that don’t really take too much effort?

I give the things I ask for and side note honestly I’d love to give a man a bouquet of flowers if men just weren’t so damn worried about “looking gay” or being judged by other men.

I’ve met another two men who wanted to give this kind of effort but I absolutely had no sexual chemistry with them and although it may seem shallow, think about the stats and consider how many relationships/ marriages crumble because of a lack of sex life..

Ugh.. so frustrated.
