How do you convince your husband to like a name?

I LOVE the name Maddox, but my husband just thinks it’s ok. He won’t go for it no matter how much I bring it up. Any ideas on how to get him to like it as much as I do?

Unfortunately you’ll probably have to pick a different name. But the cool thing is that it will end up being a name you love even more. At least that’s what happened to me this pregnancy.

I can totally relate. And you’ll probably not end up using that name you love. My husband doesn’t love my most favorite name in the entire world. We have agreed on a name for this baby girl (due November) and we are both happy with it. And I’ve asked him if we can keep my favorite name on the list for our next baby and he’s agreed. I’m happy as long as he doesn’t veto the idea completely, and he’s open to hearing it again in the future. 
Names have to be loved by both parents in my opinion.
