To me this is just a raw honest conversation.. my husband and I have had this too.. so much drama was going on in my family and I didn't realize that most of my interactions was talking about my drama.. not enjoying what we used to do.. I say you two need a break and take a day trip somewhere... I know his words hurt but I think honesty can hurt.. I dont see any gaslighting... And therapy and meds do wonders for depression and anxiety... after u got help and started bringing in the drama it helped a lottttt.... not big things I wanted his opinion on,  I just quit the daily gossip...

I don't think he's shaming at all. He sounds incredibly frustrated at the situation. He sounds like he's trying to be patient. Are you getting help for your issues?

I don’t think he is shaming you, but if this is affecting your life so much you might need to go to a therapist. Pills will do so much, but having someone to talk to will help you even more. However, being depress towards your husband can be really tough on him. He’s begging you to stop being negative, try to be positive. Think of good things to talk to. My husbands ex girlfriend was doing the same thing to him, he was miserable by the end of their relationship.

Been with someone like this before. Make sure he knows that a little support goes a long way and he doesn't have to totally understand your anxiety but at least support. Being open and taking about things is extremely important though... but as someone who also has bad anxiety we can get hyperfocused on the bad as that is what's going on in our minds on the constant. Ask him if it is okay if you come to him when you need someone to lean on a little when you really need it. Try counseling also it will help you not totally unload all on him. Men are fixers a lot of the time *though I am like that too* and if they feel like they can't fix something it is really hard on them and they feel like they are failing. If you feel like medication would help also give that a go. There is a way where you won't be depressed and have anxiety maybe a few times in a month through help and sorting everything out in your mind. Little steps 💜.

Itsnot shaming at all. It’s a tough convo, but he’s being honest. It does become extremely emotionally draining being in a relationship with someone who has depression. Just comes with the territory

I honestly can say I know how he feels. When I was with my ex (who had depression and who was also bipolar) all he did 90% of the time was talk about problems in his life and how much he hated everything. I am fine letting someone vent to me and I have depression as well but when it's literally every single day it starts to drag me down too. It got to the point where even when he was happy I was depressed after days and days of hearing his negativity. I stopped wanting to talk to him and eventually it got to the point where I lost feelings. He eventually got on different meds and we ended up breaking up over different reasons. Maybe you could start seeing a therapist or you could get a journal so you can write down all of your feelings. Your husband needs to be there for you obviously but right now it sounds like you two need to focus on rebuilding the relationship.

When I had my baby it was a lot for me to handle specially becausei used to worry about loosing my baby to SIDS and quitting my job to stay home with the babe and make it with the money and all it was a rough patch for me and my husband but we worked thing thru and I prayed for strength and we went to church together and that helped us. My anxiety gets very bad but I am working on redirecting my thoughts and breathing. Definitely seek help if you need it before things get worse. You can do this ❤️🙏🏻

He's not shaming you at all. As someone who's been in the other situation (me dealing with an anxious partner), it is deliberating and draining to have to do that. To come home to someone who just isnt stepping up to the plate because they literally cant and to care for them and carry them, making all the decisions, picking up the slack...He needs as much patience and understanding as you do. He loves you. He's still there. Listen to how he's feeling and really hear what he's saying. And be supportive of his being supportive of you.
