Abruption stories?

Question

I was in the hospital for 4 days last week for a suspected partial abruption at 26w. I got steroid shots and haven't had any bleeding since, only this constant crampy/heavy feeling that I can't put my finger on that is making me anxious. At the hospital baby looked great on all of his NSTs and my cervix was high and closed. Can anyone share their partial abruption stories and how everything turned out?

I had my baby at 28 weeks 4 days because my partial abruption is thought to have been the cause of my severe preeclampsia. The blood clot that came out was the same size as the baby. 2lbs of blood 2 lbs of baby it was crazy. She’s totally healthy now

I’m in almost the same position right now. I had heavy bleeding late September, hospitalized for partial abruption fo 4 days. All tests looked great. Got sent home, took a week off then returned to work part time. On my second day back I had another heavy bleed, I’ve now been hospitalized for 1 week. Had ANOTHER bleed Saturday am which means I’ll be here about 2 weeks total this time. Luckily NSTs and US are great, cervix is closed, no contractions or pain - just a pressure which is scary. I’m currently 28+4, scared it will keep happening and I’ll have to stay longer in the hospital. The high risk docs just can’t predict if it will continue and how severe it may be but are hopeful that I can return home and make it to at least 34 weeks. I’ve had 2 betamethasone courses too. Cant really comment on the outcome yet but this is how it’s gone for me so far :(

I had a concealed partial abruption that put me into preterm labor. My dd was born at 33+6 and did well. I’m now pregnant with my second and I see a high risk dr.

I had severe preeclampsia at 26 weeks and then had placental aburption at 26+2. Baby was born at 26+5. She spent 93 days in the NICU and now she’s almost two! It was scary and hard at the time. Just follow your doctors orders and don’t go too far from home or the hospital.
