Cyst on ovary in pregnancy?

Had my first u/s today! Baby had a heartbeat! 7+ 2 due may 22nd. They mentioned that i do have a 6cm cyst on my right ovary, i am quite concerned but heard they do usually go away. Anyone else have this or had one in previous pregnancies?

I had my ultrasound at 6 weeks 3 days and I was told I had a corpus luteum cyst. She didn’t mention the size to me but I told her I was having some discomfort on the right side. Now I know why. It’s completely normal. Everyone has one it’s just some people experience symptoms and some don’t.

The follicle that releases the egg you get pregnant with naturally develops a bit of a cyst for the beginning of pregnancy. Once the placenta takes over and your hormones even out a bit it will go away. It happens with every pregnancy. Totally normal.

I have two on my right side and ever since I stopped exercising (on the recommendation of my doc) they don’t bother me as much. Thankfully my left ovary is quiet and cyst-free.

I had one on my left! I had expressed concern to my dr because I was having left sided pain. When I went for my first u/s baby was in the right spot and I had a cyst on my left ovary. She said it will go away around week 9 when the placenta starts taking over and she was right! The pain stopped right around week 9

I have huge cysts on both sides. I’m talking 10cm+. My fertility doc said he’s not concerned at all and one of them is the corpus luteum cyst which supports the pregnancy. I’ve also had 4 losses and he said it’s still fine.
