Should we reveal our baby name at the gender reveal?

My husband and I are very set on names for a boy or a girl! Is it weird to reveal the name at the gender reveal? We are terrible at keeping secrets and thought it would be cute if everyone can start calling the baby by it’s name early!

I'm not saying anything for 2 reasons. 1. I dont want to hear other people's opinions. 2. We're naming my son after my dad and I want that to be a special moment between my dad and his grandson when they first meet. I KNOW my dad is going to cry like a baby.

Are you okay with people telling you they hate they name or giving you disgusted looks when they hear it? I personally wouldn’t care about someone else’s opinions, but if that would hurt your feelings or make you mad, best to keep it secret. I’m not saying that WILL happen, it’s just important that you’re prepared for the possibility, especially if your names are a bit out there.

Me and my hubby have had our girl and boy names for this pregnancy set for years 😂😂 so the moment we found out we were having a girl we knew her name and announced it cause it wasn't going to change.. and if we have another and its a boy we have our boy name set just like we did this time 😊

I wouldn't. People tend to think they have the RIGHT to "not like it" & make comments.

I would wait until a later date.. maybe a baby shower? I was 100% set on a boy and girl name for years until i hit 32 weeks i found one that i just loooved and changed it. You never know🤷🏻‍♀️ better safe then sorry. Also its fun to have surprise!!

We revealed our name at our shower at 35 weeks! I couldn’t wait any longer 😂
