"Mouthy little sh*t"
So, this is something that legit just happened and i really want CC to weigh in on this.
My sister, who is 13, got a new number. So she sent out this group text. Which ugh. Well just now someone responded and was like, "look, i dont care about you anymore, delete my number please,"
Which is. Harsh. But i feel like everyone has the right to tell someone to leave them alone.
Well my sisters mom, responded in the group text and legit was like "This is her mom, you were accidentally added to the chat, you can remove yourself from the chat before i come stick my foot up your ass you mouthy little shit"
And im like. 🤨.
My question is this. Would you talk to a 13 year old like this? At what point do for you as a mother to step in to situations regarding you childrens friends, and how do you deal? Do you adress the child or the parent?
For me i am just so. Embarrassed. And if i found a text like that on my childs phone from an adult, threatening them, id absolutely lose my shit. I only have a 3 year old, im not here yet but i feel like my sisters mom was childish, inappropriate and just down right a bitch.
*** Bonus: How would you react if you saw that the parent of one of your childs friends had said something like this to them?
