Moms be honest...

Have you ever lied about what you were doing when someone was watching your kid?

Even a small lie?

Like saying you had to do something for school or work but it’s not for that.

I ask because if I ask someone to watch my child or even just be at the house while she sleeps so I can do something and it’s not for work or school, I get a huge lecture and condescending words about how I shouldn’t go out when I have her, even if I’m offering to pay them. So now what I do sometimes (hardly ever..) is I’ll say I have a school event just so I can leave the house.... I feel awful and guilty for lying but I need to do things. Maybe once every two months ill ask someone. Am I horrible??
