Mucus string after bowel Movement

Posting anon because... we’ll because it’s embarrassing! I had my baby in July, and had a really good sized hemorrhoid due to pushing for two hours! But now I’ve noticed a string of mucus hanging once I go to wipe after having a bowel movement. It’s probably not normal, but before going in front of my doctor to discuss this embarrassing issue, I wanted to see if anyone else has had this! TIA!
