How do you put in a tampon please ?

Well basically I started my period today (not my first) and I have a school trip in three days where the maiiiinnnnn activity is swimming, I’ve tried tampons before but failed miserably and only got the applicator half in, please help ☹️

There are instructions in the box. But if you feel like you can’t get it in all the way, you probably just have to re adjust the angle. I do it while sitting, others will put one foot on the toilet or bathtub.

Have you felt around with your own fingers? I had to feel around a bit to understand the angle and how far I could go in. It took some practice but I finally figured it out.

Like the others said, relax, angle it towards your back. Also it helps if you use a tampon with a plastic applicator at least till you are used to them. And if you can wait until your flow is moderate because it will help lubricate. Good luck

It might be easier to stand and out one leg up on something. That helps with the angle.

Aim toward your low back, not straight up. You also have to breathe and relax your body.
