FINALLY

After 7 months of nothing.. my step kids mom has finally contacted me to speak to her child.. I am happy that she is now willing to put herself into treatment. This precious kid needs her sooo much. Misses her dearly. She is a drug addict. As happy as I am. I am worried. How do you gain trust in someone? How can you gamble with a child because you don’t know if they will hurt the child again?! I pray she becomes sober & we can co parents again!! Anyone is similar situation? How do we cope?
