HELP ! dealing w acne aftermath/dark spots

so i had a bad break out w acne the last couple of months and FINALLY got it under control. but now i have these little dark spots where the acne used to be. i love wearing make up and i want to wear makeup soon but i always take care of my skin first it’s never been like this before :/ any products i can use for dark marks/spots ? types of facials/masks ? things i can ask my dermatologist for ? i want clear skin asap , btw my skin is sensitive & combination but more on the oily side
