Today I went on my boyfriend’s phone (in front of him) and deleted his ‘ex-partner’ on snapchat. He knows I have felt extremely insecure about her for a long time to the point where I’ve been been continuously looking up her Facebook on my phone. She is his “best friend” and him and her use to have sex on a regular basis until him and I started talking. We broke up once when we first started dating and he ran to her along with another one of his ex girlfriends. We’ve been together for 8 months now and he still had her as a friend on snap, Facebook and still has her phone number. He swore they don’t talk but got extremely angry and defensive when I deleted her... I don’t see how it should be an issue is he “wasn’t talking to her” and he knows it’ll make me more comfortable in our relationship.

If you can’t trust him, then what’s the point? I think it’s a bit controlling that you decided to take it upon yourself to delete someone from his friends list on a social media outlet.

Yes you’re wrong, what in the world? So what if he still has her number and her snap? People are allowed to be friends with their exes. Just because he slept with her when you guys broke up doesn’t mean he would cheat on you. You had no business going on his phone and deleting her, that’s a HUGE violation of privacy. If you don’t trust him then break up with him, don’t try to be all sneaky

I have most of my ex’s on Snapchat and social media and whatnot because I just don’t care to delete them. I don’t talk to them. Every now and then I’ll get a how are you doing that I ignore but I wouldn’t want my so deleting people for me on social media. If it’s a problem talk to me about it and we will figure something out.

When you got back together with him, that was the time for you tell him like hey this is not cool & I would appreciate it if you didn't communicate with girls you've had sex with. Not 8 months down the road when he thinks things are fine.
Me personally I wouldn't take someone back knowing they immediately went & had sex with a not one but two of his ex's. Like homeboy wasn't even hurt.
Another thing to put some focus on is your insecurities. You're giving this girl a power over you she doesn't even know she has. You cannot give people that power! 
You have to be one WHOLE SECURE person to be in a healthy long lasting relationship. This relationship will go no where if he doesn't respect you, & you don't trust him. It's that simple.

TO ADDRESS SOME THINGS: I believe some people may have misunderstood some things, first being we both made it very clear with each other that we were uncomfortable with ex’s and they were a no no. He knew I did not want him talking to/ be around or checking up on any of his ex’s and he agreed and felt the same exact way towards me. One thing that made me very uncomfortable with them being friends on snap was that fact that I know he watches he stories every time she posted them making me wonder why he cares so much? Second, to my ‘knowledge’- he didn’t have sex with her/ his ex while we were broken up. He said they “talked” that they gave him advice. But I do know they they were both still interested in him, the ex WHILE WE WERE DATING in June even snapped him a picture of her ass in a swimsuit saying she missed him. Which is one reason I am so insecure. I told him to block her, so he unfriended her at the time. Lastly, I really love this boy. I wanted 5 months just talking to him before we even started dating. I love him, more then anything and I don’t want to loose him. It’s not just so easy to call it quits after investing so much time, effort and love into one person. I would be absolutely devastated if I lost him and I do not want to relinquish my morals either. If he wasn’t doing anything wrong I don’t see why it should be such a big deal?

This should have been a serious conversation and I’d hypothetically speaking would ask if it’s ok if I do as he does? I always play that card w men and it works for me.. You didn’t even allow him to do it himself, so now your just stuck w the idea of you erasing her not him. Talk about your feelings.

Well firstly if you don’t trust him, there’s a reason for that so maybe this relationship isn’t right for you. But I see where you’re coming from with the exes. That whole ‘you can be friends with an ex’ thing is complete bullshit IF you are currently in a relationship with someone else. An ex is an ex for a reason. If you’re single and still friends then fine, but I personally wouldn’t want my boyfriend still in contact with his ex. 🤷🏼‍♀️ if your boyfriend adds his ex again after you deleted her then you should definitely consider your options of leaving him lol
