milk blister/cyst blocked milk duct?

I started leaking milk at 30 week, by 31 weeks i have a puss filled cyst the size of a marble on my areola. i read this is a milk blister, caused by blocked milk duct. any one else getting this or had this? if so how do you treat it, its pretty painful.

Normally, the best home treatment is frequent nursing 🤷🏻‍♀️. I got these a few times with my son. In your case, I’d try a warm compress and then manually attempt to express the backup. You are probably going to need to see your doctor about it though because you do not want it turning into mastitis or to miss a mastitis diagnosis because you will need antibiotics.

I had this before I was pregnant- mine was a Montgomery gland infection. If you have a fever or bad pain please go see a doctor.
