How do I get my partner to slow down?

Hey guys!

So I'm absolutely hooked on my partner. He's sweet, intelligent, sincere, and very passionate. However....I think his passion may make him a bit too constantly aggressive in the bedroom.

Don't get me wrong, I love going fast and him being aggressive. I'm fairly kinky and do enjoy it, but that doesn't mean I want it like that every time. I've been very communicative about what I like and he is responsive to that but it feels like he just follows what I'm saying for a few minutes and then goes back to just having super fast sex....and a girl can only take so much. I feel like I have to keep reminding him to slow down or be gentle with me. It kinda starting to make me tense and scared to have sex with him.

What should I do? I know he's trying and listening and I've been very communicative but I don't know what else to say or do?
