When should i start my MAT leave? 18 months payed*

Due November 20th💗 i get 18 months payed MAT leave, when do you think i should start?

I am taking the 12 month versus the 18. I am going on leave at 37 weeks and my c section is schedule for 39 weeks 5 days. Hubby is taking a month parental leave off as well so I will get 11 months instead. Hard to justify/afford taking the 18 months for us

I'm in Canada too!😄 and started it at 36 weeks so I can have time to prepare and relax a bit before baby comes. 😅

Is that maternity leave only or including baby bonding time? And where do you work that gives that much?

When you have the baby if you can rough out working until you do. You’ll enjoy all the time u get with your baby
