I'm 30 and never had a boyfriend

I did date a couple of times. I guess I wasn't really interested in having a relationship before. Now I find dating more fun, but it's hard to meet good people. I am trying online dating but I don't really know how dating works to be honest. (Lame, I know)

Is it bad that I keep giving up on guy after guy? What would be your criteria to keep seeing a guy? This may seem like a stupid question, but I honestly have no idea.
