So I picked my cat up from surgery from being neutered about an hour ago. He got home and wanted to play. I told him noo we can’t and put some food out for him. He’s over eating and I see him hunched over like he’s ready to pounce. All of a sudden I see a tiny mouse running on the floor. I freak out and he goes after it while I’m telling him no. Not like he’s going to listen 🙄 lol. So finally I’m able to get this poor mouse in a container and it’s a baby :( I instantly started crying and called up my boyfriend telling him that I don’t know what to do with it. He tells me it’s going to be ok. Just put it outside. So here I am holding him in the dish and crying wishing I could keep him but knowing I couldn’t. I set the dish down on its side and let him go outside. Moral of the story....my cat is a badass mouse catcher doped up on pain meds and I’m just a big baby when it comes to animals. 😅
