When will the bleeding end?

I recently miscarried. The bleeding started October 8th, I passed the gestational sac on the 9th and continued to bleed like a period until the 14th. Since then every day it seems like the bleeding has stopped, but in the evenings the bleeding comes back in a small gush then I spot until the next evening when it happens again? Any experience on how long this has lasted for may of you?? My previous loss was a ruptured ectopic so it was different and the first was 12 years ago so I don't remember the bleeding.
