Do you have a favorite comforter?

I’m looking to get a new comforter. I need a king, we have a queen but between my husband and I and the two dogs one of Us or the other ends up not covered by the blanket at night. I’m debating whether to get a quilt type of blanket (like we have now) or a feathered down type? Do you have a certain type of comforter or brand that you absolutely love??

I have alternative down and I love it! You don't get poked by rogue feathers (or feel bad for the birds!) and it's so warm! I've washed it a lot (had it for years) and it's never gummed up where all the filling falls to one corner.

I use this blanket over my sheet! It’s so soft and HUGE! Found it at Costco for $22 bucks. For the price, I think I’m going to buy another to keep on hand.

I'm not a fan of down because I get too hot. I have a sheet, then a thin cotton blanket (target, make sure it's 100% cotton) and then a quilt, that way I can adjust as I get hot or cold. I'm happy with all the quilts and comforters I've ever owned from bed bath and beyond.

Frankly, I love my quiltlet I picked up from target. It's great during the summer and I can just throw on a fluffy blanket during the winter to insulate it. I am debating on a sherpa lined comforter right now since we're moving to a colder state soon, but I think I had a quiltlet when I lived there before as well.

I have a Duck River Textile comforter, i got it off of Zulily. And I LOVE IT! It keeps me cool in the summer, and warm in the winter.
